“Identity” is based on the beautiful but also unpleasant idea that one does not always have control over how one’s identity is formed. A feeling that is illustrated by the use of unused dialysis tubes from hospitals that have been patinated and sewn into the garments. And the pattern on one of the fabrics is an enlarged image of fingerprints.
